Tughans is pleased to announce its sponsorship of the Insurance Institute of Northern Ireland’s Premium Masterclass series. Neil Cahill from the Dispute Resolution team at Tughans was joined at the launch by keynote speaker and four-time Paralympic gold medallist Dr Michael McKillop and Institute President Iain Patterson.
Under the theme of ‘Premium’, the series, now in its 8th year, will feature technical insurance presentations from industry experts alongside talks focusing on the soft-skills involved in business and management success. This years’ series is the largest to date with over 170 decision makers within the Insurance Industry registered to attend the first masterclass. In addition to Dr McKillop, delegates also heard from Mr Jack McIllduff who has over 50 years of experience in the local Insurance sector and is one of the most respected business leaders in Northern Ireland.
Speaking at the launch event on September 27th Iain Patterson President of the IINI, explained ‘In the face of a changeable business environment it is essential that local insurance firms and professionals continue to seek new and improved ways of doing things and stay on top of developments such as Ogden and Brexit. In response to this, the Premium Masterclass Series provides updates on technical insurance topics as well as insights into key business disciplines and economic drivers.”
