Tughans acted for PlotBox, a leading software solutions provider to cemeteries and crematoria, as it secured a £5 million investment. Led by Guinness Ventures (a London-based specialist fund management company), existing investors including Edinburgh based Par Equity also participated in the round.

 

PlotBox, a multi award-winning start-up was founded in 2014 by Sean and Leona McAllister. The innovative cloud-based deathcare management solution, developed to take away some of the pain of dealing with death, has become the leading digital transformation partner of choice for deathcare service providers across the globe.

 

The new funding will support PlotBox’s strategy for global growth and expansion, enabling its continued development of best-in-class products and services that will help to revolutionise the way deathcare facilities both operate and grow.
