Adrian’s extensive experience in this space brings him into contact with clients across a broad range of sectors, including technology, manufacturing, food and retail. Through his work, Adrian advises on a broad range of commercial agreements, including agency, collaboration, confidentiality, consultancy, distribution, franchising, general commercial, joint ventures, licensing, managed services, manufacturing, outsourcing, supply and technology transfer.

  • Leading NI Dairy Co-operative in the negotiation and settlement of contracts for the acquisition of plant and equipment from each of TetraPak and GEA Group.
  • Global Leader in Healthcare Packaging on all aspects of its ongoing IP contracting requirements, including advice and assistance on issues pertaining to confidentiality, know-how, patents and trade marks registration.
  • Innovative Blinds Manufacturer in relation to the licensing of its IP. In addition to its core blinds business which has successfully entered into IP licensing deals in the US and China, this client’s business has diversified into the proprietary medical grade healthcare products.
  • Technology Licensing Company in the audio compression and decompression space in negotiating and settling licensing deals for the implementation of this client’s technology into digital wireless microphone and receiver products. For each licensee, a contract covering development, licensing, royalty and support was entered into.
  • Leading Commodity Trading Group on the negotiation and settlement of contracts for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for use by this diversified group in its international commodity trading, storage, agribusiness and industrial companies.
  • Leading NI Food Wholesaler in relation to the development and exploitation of IP in and to certain interfaces developed by this client for its third-party Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This work involved advising in relation to the IP prior to negotiating the appointment of a reseller agreement by which that IP is made available for onward licensing.
